The Horses of IHCYR

Redmond will be donated back to IHCYR along with a new well trained horse who he has been living with from Steve Barnhart who ownes Barnhart Pump!! Thank you for Donating the Hay and horses for us to open up other adoptions!  It is enough hay to support them through the Winter!!!!

Willy will be up for adoption. -  

Redmond may go back up for adoption also after he is evaluated upon his return, ( he has been right behind the youth ranch on the next property. 

Freddy is up for adoption -

MIsty will be going to Ellicott in the springtime with the minis on 35 acres with Akina Kamlan and perhaps Cheif or one other companion horse.

The Youth ranch will have enough horses for the riding instruction and we will pray for excellent homes, the adopted families must be approved by the board members  and qualify for caring for any of the horses.

Depending on which of the horses are adopted, others may not need to be adopted but will remain in the school.   These horses are not your normal rescue horses but are excellent in what they do for safety or in their training.  All these horses would be worth on the normal economy 3 or 4 times this in cost.  The school and training they receive and handling makes these amazing horses!

Pending Board approval may adjust this fee.  Any amount about the fee is a Donation and may be  tax deductible.   All Fees are used for the care and support of the horses and new horses that are in need of rescue,or donated for care and the benefit the youth ranch gives. 

The following horses are used in the school and work well with youth or adults unless noted.

We are in need of hay for the horses or we would not be placing these horses up for adoption.  It is an immediate need.  Thank you! 

Redmond  - Quarter Horse approx 11yr, Gelding- Ridden English and Western.   $1500.00

Willy - 20 plus Arabian Gelding, English, Western.          $1000.00

Two Socks - Gelding, 26plus, lots of energy, English or Western  $1000.00

Riddle -Thoroughbred Gelding, 11/12, excellent training Dressage and eventing, we also ride him western. .        $5000.00

Freddy - Thoroughbred Gelding 14, jumper, english only high energy, but very sensitive.      $5000.00 

Ranger -Foundation AQHA Buckskin Gelding, 18yrs, Excellent horse.       $3500.00

Ginger -  Reg. Paint Mare, doing really well, western, using in the school, wonderful.        $2000.00

Lexie -    Doc o Lena 4 yr old filly, started, still in training.    $1200.00

Many horses in need of rehabilitation and a loving forever home come to IHCYR. All horses adopted through IHCYR support the youth ranch and the other horses still looking for homes or the training horses.  Currently we have horses in the school that have been donated to the youth ranch, some are available for part-time lease opportunities. 

If you are in need of finding a home for your horse, please contact the youth ranch to see if we are able to help you.  We have families looking and may be able to assist you. We will access and care for any training needs in order to assist these positive adoptions.

	Willy Bay Arabian gelding. Previous endurance horse. Lease or  sponsor Willy! Leasing available Monday, Tuesday, Sundays.   In the school.		Rein on Suzy Cowboy (previously Suzy Cowboy) Blue Roan Registered Quarter Horse filly, 3 years old. We are healing her leg wound, she is not lame, smart and beautiful. Justin Giordiano is working with her on training. Adopted!
	Buster Older Quarter horse, been through it all, Search and Rescue, awesome boy! Adopted!		PJ 7 year old sorrel Quarter horse, was very scared and in need of training.   Will be up for adoption in August. Adopted!
	Jetti Adopted!		GG Mini. In the school.
	Lacy Mini. In the school.		Cimmy Buckskin Quarter Horse - Beautiful! Available for lease.  Has special needs and is inthe school.
	Two Socks 26/27 Bay, spicy and thinks he’s 2! Up for lease on Monday or Tuesday. In a lease on Sunday.		Freddy Reg. Thoroughbred Gelding, 13, beautiful mover, definite rescue story from Kim Gabardi. We love Freddy! Up for lease one day a week!
	Misty What a blessing, she takes care of everyone, has spunk but safe, dependable. God knew of her purpose here at IHCYR. Up for lease Monday or Tuesday.		National National Show horse, we are still putting weight on her, but she is a very nice mount, a bit emotional, but Marie loves her! Adopted!
	Sterling Thoroughbred Mare, - dependable, Donated and loved by the youth and especially Laurie   Went to fly in Heaven with wings!		Spirit the Pony Donated, used to have quite a few issues, is doing well, bridling, is up for adoption. Very strong back, good conformation. Was used for jumping, mainly he was spoiled at bridling. Easy keeper. Welsh size. Adopted!
	Buttons The protector and confidence builder horse, 28 yr old Paint Quarter. Buttons was loved by so many, she received her wings in 2010.		Dartanyan He is with Tammy Chance, and they love it, he is beautiful a bit strong minded, loving life! Adopted!
	Mya Adopted by the Leary Family, we should call her Mya Leary! A beautiful, smart Arabian mare! Adopted!		Lady Bug Beautiful Chestnut Quarter Horse mare. She loves to jump, rides english and western.  Adopted!.
	Sierra Rose Misty's daughter, now 5? She is now the wonderful horse for Heather! Its an awesome story of how God puts all things together for His good, for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose! Adopted!		Grey A wonderful Quater horse, loved dearly, he is blind in one eye, and is with Alan Roper near Esty Ranch in Gunnison. His daughters and granddaughters are loving and caring for him. He has the life. It is beautiful in Gunnison.
	Riddle A beautiful, big Thoroughbred gelding.  Was a steeplechase eventer, now in the school. Available for lease. In a 2 month lease.		Chief An amazing horse, surviving cancer and various surgeries, founder in left front, he is still blessing many children. In the school. He has special needs and has only one eye.
	Genesis (previously Preacher) A beautiful, gorgeous Arabian Gelding, he was given to Christy, we still get to see him "float" across the pasture next door.		Ruby   An amazing Arabian, loved by all, she received her wings and flies with the angels. Dearly missed!
