Equine Education Classes

IHCYR offers classes designed for the self-development of youth to ensure horse safety and responsible care. Students gain hands-on experience with horses including grooming and hoof care. Check the Home page for the Equine Class days,times.

 

Closed the 5th Saturday of each month for the youth ranch group activities only.

 

Pre-register for all classes and activities! Drop-offs are not accepted!

Wednesday  - private instruction

Thursday -       Saddle Up Classes - Francine Althoff Instructor

                          1:00 - 3:30pm                  3:30 - 5:30pm

Friday -            Saddle up Classes 1:00 - 4:00 pm - Francine Althoff Instructor  
1st Saturday - private instruction in the mornings, youth ranch 1-4pm

4th Saturday - private instruction in the mornings, youth ranch 1-4pm

Second and Third Saturday of each month we offer private or group instruction, Birthday parties along with lease opportunities. 

Sunday - lease opportunities

Fourth Saturday of every month  Horse Show/Clinics arrival 1pm.

 All  lessons  and volunteering are pre-scheduled.  Space is limited for riding instruction on our youth ranch group schedule.
